Interesting exploration of how mental illness differs around the world, and how it can often be strongly influenced by cultural expectations.

Also very timely - in the UK "exceptions" to mask wearing are mentioned in every announcement, and few people wear them. In other countries this is not part of the public discourse (eg just spent 3 weeks around Argentina), and everyone is just fine wearing them.

Which other common illnesses and issues are mostly a cultural phenomenon?
